Australian Public Affairs Information Service – Health
Australian Public Affairs Information Service - Health (APAIS-Health), produced by the National Library of Australia, is a bibliographic database that indexes articles from published material. APAIS-Health covers health and medicine in Australia and in particular the legal, social, economic and ethical aspects of health. Clinical articles are not indexed for APAIS-Health. APAIS-Health is a subset of the APAIS database.

Source documents include a wide range of periodicals, newspapers, scholarly journals, conference papers and books.

APAIS-Health comprehensively indexes approximately 250 journals. Overseas sources are also scanned for material on Australian subject matter. APAIS-Health also indexes very selectively from many other Australian journals and conference proceedings, as well as from overseas journals carrying articles with an Australian content. Approximately half the APAIS-Health indexing is derived from the comprehensively indexed journals. Information about the APAIS-Health selection policy is available from the database producer.

APAIS-Health also contains 700+ web links to content.
