The Far North Queensland Collection (FNQ), produced by the Library, Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE, is a bibliographic database that was established in 1994 to meet the needs of the 2,500 Indigenous students at the Institute. Approximately 8,000 records are added each year.
Scope: The Collection covers the geographical region of Far North Queensland, from Ingham in the south to Doomadgee in the west and encompassing the Torres Strait, Gulf, Cape York Peninsula, Daintree and the Atherton Tableland.
