Australian Library & Information Science Abstracts (ALISA), produced by ACHLIS (Australian Clearing House for Library and Information Science), is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles from published and unpublished material on library and information science from 1982 onwards.
ALISA aims to cover comprehensively all current Australian literature on library and information services and the library workforce including education and training, information technology including CD-ROM, networking, electronic publishing, and telecommunications. There are also records relating to Australian children's literature, and archives.
Source documents include monographs, research reports, conference papers, periodical articles and unpublished material. Overseas articles by Australian authors or on Australian libraries are also indexed.
